The Kaohsiung Food Show, hosted by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, is entering its eleventh year! This year will bring the Kaohsiung Food show that has combined the Kaohsiung HORECA and the first ever Kaohsiung HALAL together for a 3-in-1 expo! The expo will be held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from Oct. 26 to Oct. 29.
This year’s “Agricultural and Seafood Products” exhibit area is formed by heavyweight exhibitors Marine Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government, Agriculture Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government and Taiwan Frozen Seafood Industries Association, who will present a vast array of agricultural products, kabayaki eel, assorted seafood snacks such as seaweed flavor crispy codfish snack and delicious seafood side dishes, such as flavored baby octopuses and flavored fish eggs.
There are many first-time exhibitors presenting at this year’s “Local Product and Souvenir” exhibit area, including popular spicy hotpot brand “Old Sichuan,” who will be bringing gift boxes featuring vacuum-packaged soup packets and spicy flavored peanuts; Hsuan Yao Limited Corporation will present different flavored nougat candies that won’t cling to the teeth or have unbearable sweetness; as well as Golden-Flower Tea Oil Production Company, featuring its healthy cooking oil. In the “Oversea Products” exhibit area, Shi-Dai Limited Corporation will show up with many Italian imports, such as Ferrarelle sparkling water, a delectable choice to serve with food and dairy; Birra Moretti beer, known for its long history and world’s best-selling Olitalia olive oil.
Apart from the diverse exhibit areas that will showcase abundant products, there are also foreign exhibitors hailing from 12 countries such as Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Belgium, Austria and Germany, equipped with delicacies from their home countries.
