Look to the stars: Your guide to the 2018 astrology forecast (2/3)

By Stephanie Chao, The Eye on Taiwan News staff — A popular Taiwanese astrology expert, Jesse Tang, weighs in the upcoming first half of 2018 through the zodiac signs for work, love, money and health.

Take a look of your fortune in the first half of this year:

2018 will see Leos disgruntled or dissatisfied with their current situation, leading them to try new opportunities or seek changes.

Work: From March to May, it’s the right time for you to consider staying or leaving your current job. Those looking for changes should act before May and leverage a sustainable role with your professional abilities.

Love: Say goodbye to stressful, difficult relationships or unrequited love, for Leo can find some solace and closure in January and look forward to a romantic relationship in April and May.

Money: Your luck is in properties, so it is the best time to buy land or property in the first half of this year.

Health: Long-term poor habits will result into chronic illness. Leos should take better care of their health by adjusting your current attitude.

It’s a time for travel, taking classes and expanding your horizons, Virgo, and show off your newly acquired talents and interests, instead of settling in your current field.

Work: You will encounter self-imposed pressure due to your tendency for high standards.

Love: Virgos will likely face rocky relationships in the following months. You will meet types that lean towards experts in a specific area, with bland personalities or come with a set of rules.

Money: There are likely financial instability ahead due to your significant other or business partner.  March and April will bear opportune chances to rake over past financial issues and manage your finances.

Health: Virgos should take care of their health in May and June, when chronic problems and illness will rear its ugly head. Take note of your doctor’s prescriptions and advice, and avoid traditional medicine.

Libras will face issues at home this year — at the moment is a critical period for you and you should consider reaching stability before seeking success. The stars are aligned this year for Libra in terms of finance, as the odds are in your favor, giving you a favorable boost to pave a successful road ahead.

Work: It’s a great time for you to rake in money. A new investment opportunity will likely appear after May. You will encounter chances to expand your career horizons and increase employments.

Love: Your relationships will stir with Mars entering the Fifth House, giving you opportunities for a romantic love-at-first-sight affair or rekindling past relationships.

Money: Lady Luck is on Libra’s side in terms of finances. Collaborative opportunities will also be lucrative endeavors, though Libras should also maintain a good habit of giving before receiving. In terms of money, it’s best for you clearly calculate what you can financially handle.

Health: With all the money coming in, Libras might forget to take care of yourselves under the stress of work.

2018 will give you a breath of courage to act upon your willful desires and embark on new opportunities or destinations.

Work: It’s best for Scorpio to express your individuality and grasp career or learning opportunities close to your interests. Pursue careers in travel, education, translation, writing or hosting for good opportunities.

Love: Don’t lose yourself in self-imagined fantasies. Scorpios should evaluate your partner’s personality and qualities. There could be cracks in your relationship for married Scorpios, leading to separation. There’s also a possibility to meet unconventional partners.

Money:  February and March will bear good chances to make money. After July, luck will be on your side if you invest in property or meet new mentors.
