
Super 5-in-1 Food Expo offers a taste of Taiwan
Bottles are being opened and dishes shared as tens of thousands of people come to Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall and Taipei World Trade Center to see what Taiwan’s food industry has to offer, one sample at a time. The thousands of people manning the booths at Asia’s 5-in-1 Food Expo are serving up visitors a taste of Taiwan — and abroad. Some visitors came with more than just curiosity. Fifty-seven buyers from 20 countries arrived looking for partners in Taiwan.
5-in-1 Food Expo opens with record-busting turnout
Asia’s Super 5-in-1 Food Expo opened on Wednesday, June 21, to showcase Taiwan’s well-integrated, diverse and highly competitive food industry. At the joint opening ceremony for the Food Expo, First Vice President of Honduras Ricardo Antonio Alvarez Arias highlighted the trade show’s importance in promoting food products from the Central American country such as coffee and other agricultural products. R.O.C. Vice President Chen Chien-jen introduced Alvarez as the first foreign leader to attend the opening ceremony of Food Expo.
Asia’s Super 5-in-1 Food Expo showcases new industry trends
The Super 5-in-1 Food Expo, one of the biggest food industry events in Asia, begins today and spans four days at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1 and Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. The expo not only links the entire food industry chain from top to bottom, it also brings in the industry chain of related equipment through the Taipei International Food Show, FoodTech and Pharmatech Taipei, Taipei Pack, Taipei International Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Show and Taiwan International HALAL Expo.
