New incentives for tourists: One-night free hotel accommodation for visitors traveling to Taitung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung & Penghu

The Taiwan Tourism Bureau’s recent incentives to stimulate domestic tourism by offering one-night free hotel accommodation to visitors traveling to five local cities and counties in southern and eastern Taiwan have shown positive effects with Taitung first reporting a surge in the number of tourists.

Jiji railway line in central Taiwan set to be new tourist hotspot

Taiwan’s Tourism Bureau has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the railway authorities to develop the Jiji (集集) railway line in central Taiwan as a new tourist hotspot.
