Management of the condition of automobiles is crucial for both private car owners and businesses. By closely monitoring the status of a vehicle, owners can potentially save a lot of money in extending of the lifespan of all kinds of vehicles. Drivers could also achieve the best results driving their cars with the use of Antzer Tech’s products.
Super star startup
Antzer Tech, a subsidiary of Innodisk Corporation, was founded in 2015. The company targets the rapid growing IoV (Internet of Vehicles) market and is committed to innovation with exceptional expertise of CAN bus, GNSS positioning, dead reckoning, motion sensors and wireless communication, including LPWAN. Antzer Tech possesses comprehensive hardware, software and system integration knowledge, with substantial experience which aims to provide the best solution for tracking, telematics, asset monitoring and IoT applications.
The quality of Antzer Tech has given the company a host of faithful clients in countries such as the United States, Sweden, Germany, India, and Turkey.
Currently, one of Antzer Tech’s more well-known technologies is the CAN bus Solution. The product provides efficient fleet management to logistics companies. The solution works coherently with GNSS positioning, and uses sensors that evaluate driving patterns. The solution has been well recognized, with Taiwan’s New Taipei City Government choosing to incorporate the product into the fleets of buses operating in the city.
RIFA-M Multifunctional Vehicle Tracking Unit that utilizes CAN bus Information and manages public transportation helps the city government save cost and ensure transportation safety
In recent years, cities in Taiwan have implemented well-acknowledged measures to improve public transportation. Most notably, Taiwan’s capital, Taipei City, and its neighboring city, New Taipei City, have worked together for decades to connect residents of both cities using the most convenient and efficient commuting experience. Both cities currently share a metro system, bus fleets and a national bicycle rental service.
To further safeguard the lives of its citizens, the New Taipei City Government has installed Antzer Tech’s RIFA-M Multifunctional Vehicle Tracking Unit in all buses that commute through the city. With RIFA-M, the city government is able to receive firsthand data regarding vehicular flows, as well as drivers’ behaviors. Through the use of CAN bus(Controller Area Network), GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and G-Sensor, RIFA-M acquires information such as engine condition, real-time location, harsh acceleration, harsh cornering, harsh breaking, speeding, idling and accidents. After acquiring the data, RIFA-M transmits the information to computer servers at backend centers using LPWAN (low-power wide-area network), which reduces monthly telecommunication fees. Bus companies and the city government can use the information to monitor vehicle and personnel rearrangements for the safety of the public and the benefits of bus companies.
Patented CAN-to-ADR technology enhances vehicle tracking and route decision making
Traditional satellite tracking would sometimes become troublesome in areas with poor GNSS signals, or areas that are dead-zones. Drivers may often be challenged with incomplete information, while fleet managers risk losing track of their vehicles due to signal loss.
Antzer Tech provides an excellent solution. Traditionally, the technology takes speed information obtained from vehicles to combine with inertial sensing data, GNSS signals and sophisticated dead reckoning algorithms to keep a vehicle’s positioning system on track in areas with weak or no GNSS signals. Antzer Tech has further upgraded the technology for vehicle tracking and remote fleet management, by integrating the ADR chip with CAN Bus, granting the chip easy access to data taken from vehicle ECUs.
Most importantly, the company’s three sets of modules allow easy integration of CAN-to-ADR in all kinds of in-vehicle requirements, especially the compact CAN Bus and GNSS Mini PCIe Combo Card (GADN Series).
Positive reputation attracts military application
Aside from providing excellent services to the public, Antzer Tech’s products have also attracted the attention of the military both in Taiwan and in Turkey.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan has adopted measures to upgrade safety guidelines to better protect its soldiers. With the intention to ensure the safety of soldiers and monitor the conditions of military vehicles, the Taiwanese military has included the use of Antzer Tech’s RIFA-M Series to collect data and observe driving behaviors as well as vehicle operations.
While military tractors and tank transporters carry heavy equipment and tanks, the operational efficiency and safety are vital. The Turkish military has adopted the use of Antzer Tech’s CAN Bus+GNSS combo mPCIe card in their vehicle computer, which could be easily integrated and also enable the access of vehicle CAN Bus and the actual location information with GNSS and dead reckoning technology. By using Antzer Tech’s product, local authority improves driving safety of the drivers, ensures maximum safety and security for military tractor & tank transporter, and has full visibility of vehicle status and transit route.
Selling Points:
- RIFA-M is able to receive information such as engine condition, real-time location, event notification of harsh cornering/braking, harsh acceleration, idling, and accidents.
- RIFA-M consolidates vehicle status and driving behaviors to servers using LPWAN, greatly reducing monthly communication fee for users.
- Upgraded CAN-to-ADR technology is perfectly suitable for vehicle tracking and remote fleet management. Antzer Tech has integrated the ADR chip with CAN Bus, granting the chip easy access to data taken from vehicle ECUs.
