FOOD TAIPEI MEGA SHOWS will be held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 from 17th to 20th, December. Food products from 16 countries will be displayed in more than 1,880 booths. It is the most comprehensive and globalized professional food product exhibit in Taiwan. With FOOD TAIPEI 2020, FOODTECH TAIPEI, BIO/PHARMATECH TAIWAN, TAIPEI PACK, TAIWAN HORECA and HALAL TAIWAN all under one roof, buyers can handily place their orders at one spot. This platform also provides an excellent medium for up-, mid- and downstream producers to exchange the latest information and technology insights.
‘AgriNext’ is the theme designated by Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan R.O.C.(Taiwan), 116 Taiwan manufacturers are invited to display their food and processed food products in 7 theme zones in the Taiwan Pavilion. Kaohsiung, a major fruit producing area in Taiwan, and Yunlin, Tainan, Hualien and Taitung all have their own distinctive theme to showcase their specialty products and agriculture strength. The Stewed Fish Head in Clay Pot by Smartfish from Chiayi, introduced in 2019 Netflix Series “Street Food”, is also available at the show.
In the National Pavilion section, Taiwan’s allies, including Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Belize and Paraguay will present their top-quality seafood, beef, coffee and other farm products at the Latin and Central American Pavilion. The American Institute in Taiwan’s Agricultural Trade Office has called on export-import councils of US farm and US livestock to bring in their meat, dairy products, Wisconsin ginseng and other high quality US foods for exhibition. More than 1,000 specialty foods from Japan, South Korea, Belgium, Russia, Brazil, Eswatini and many other countries are to be here to help gourmandizers in Taiwan sample exotic delicacies without needing to travel abroad. FOOD TAIPEI MEGA SHOWS is where Taiwan and other countries can present their agriculture strength and gourmet foods. The show is open to the public at the weekend (19th and 20th, Dec.).
